Why the Lakes
Where it all began back in July 2008!
As many of you know, we met in Grasmere in between the beautiful mountains and lakes in 2008. After reconnecting again in 2016, we have loved coming back here to climb a mountain or two and it seemed like the perfect place to start the next chapter of our lives together.

Only a few weeks to go until our wedding day! We are truly getting excited…

Bar
We are very much looking forward to celebrating with you and much appreciate the far distances some of you will travel.
This is why we decided to have an open bar for all wine, beer, prosecco and non-alcoholic drinks, until our budget runs out.
Any drinks not on that list may still be on sale from the bar.
Outfit
Tom will wear a suit and Ann-Katrin a dress. Please feel free to wear anything you will be comfortable in on the day.
When it comes to shoes, please keep in mind that the venue is a farm and stilettos might not be the best option.
Gifts
As we said before, your presence is our greatest gift for us.
However, if you are insisting on giving us a present, we would love a contribution to future hiking adventures rather than any objects that we may or may not need.
We already have everything we need in our little ‘Cottage’ in South East London.

Walking distance from Coniston: 30-40 mins
Driving distance from Coniston: 5 mins
There will be a few car parking spaces at the farm.

There will be taxis waiting for you to take you back to your accommodations in Coniston, Torver and Ambleside from about midnight until about 1am.
Information
Venue
We will get married at Yew Tree Farm in Coniston on 5 August 2023.
The ceremony and party will start in the afternoon and take place on the beautiful farm grounds. (more details to come closer to the date).
Gifts
The best present you could get us would be to celebrate the day with us!
Accommodation
There are many hostels, hotels and Airbnb’s in Coniston and the surrounding villages.
Unfortunately, the Lake District is very popular in August and rooms will very likely get booked up well in advance.
